Alice in a cake wonderland

Here are some new photos of one of our favorite and most popular show cakes we have created. A Alice in Wonderland themed wedding cake.

It uses twisted fondant and brushed chocolate for the tree trunk base with sugar toadstools (these ones you can eat) with a castle section surrounded by sugar playing card staircase taking you up to a hand sculpted Cheshire cat made from modelling chocolate and including a sugar pocket watch. On top of this is a fondant covered top hat with a sugar tea cup perched on the rim being filled with chocolate tea from the sugar teapot balanced on top of the hat.
